More writing ideas for me

Haven’t updated this blog in a good while, huh? Well, okay. I had to take a break because Jack got sick. He was bedridden for a while so I had to sacrifice both my schoolwork and this blog so that he could get better quickly. I’m majorly behind in my schoolwork now for all of my classes. I emailed them about it and they DID give me even the tiniest amount of leniency about it, but good lord. It’s fourth quarter. I’m so fucked.

Just to get my mind off of everything, I just want to throw some writing ideas against the wall for later when I’m not in boiling water. Some of these have been pinging against my skull for a while.

I don’t really comprehend my own creative process. It’s less like how people describe ideas coming to them and more like fully-fledged scenarios just… find their way to me. I’d say they’re more like memories that you just remember out of the blue. I asked Sandra about it and she said something kind of interesting.

“Have you ever heard cases of people allegedly being clairvoyant?”

And I say “kind of. It’s not real, right?”

She scoffs. ”Honestly, that mindset is poisonous.”

“What?”

“If something’s unprovable, you shouldn’t just assume it’s not real right off the bat.”

”What’s this gotta do with anything?”

She just kind of smiles at me after that. I got distracted. Writing ideas. Yeah. That’s what I was gonna talk about.

I’ll put them down tomorrow. Fuck. I need to do my homework.
